As promised (and promised, and promised), I have a giveaway for my loyal readers! You have two options: knitting or sewing. Feel free to enter for both, you just have to state it in the comments.
So, what's up for grabs?
The set of Stitch N' Bitch books - the Knitters Handbook and Son of... (patterns for guys)
I've noticed a lot of my blogger friends have taken up knitting and thought this would be a fun item for their library. It includes basics on knitting and some fun patterns.
or...
A set of Vogue patterns. In particular, V8648, V1208, and Vintage Vogue V1136. All are size EE (sewing pattern sizes 14 -20/22)
To enter: Leave a comment on this post about which set you'd prefer (or either), and one of your New Year's resolutions. If your profile does not have a link to your email, please also leave a way to contact you. The giveaway will close on Friday, January 11th and is open to all readers that follow through Google Friend Connect, Facebook or RSS feed.
*Note, this giveaway is not sponsored by Stitch N' Bitch or Vogue patterns, but are new items from my personal collection.
Ohh darling, it's kind of you. I'm learning to knit so I would love the chance for the knitting books x happy new year x
ReplyDeleteOoh, my first giveaway for 2013. My New Year resolutions were to sew more, organise the fabric stash and to keep a daily journal. I would be amazingly happy to receive either of the items you are offering so please count me in for both.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the giveaway, I would love to win the sewing patterns if the giveaway is open to overseas subscribers.

Happy New Year Christine!!! I'd love to be entered in the sewing portion of this give-away. My New Year's Resolution is to eat a salad everyday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice giveaway! I'd love the set of Vogue Patterns. One of my New Year's Resolutions? I've SCHEDULED time for sewing and will stick to it so I can make myself 12 new garments this year.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Thanks for hosting a giveaway - I probably need to the same. I love your blog! I'm a new knitter so I am coveting those Stitch and Bitch Books - I also love one of the man's patterns' in the books too (It is a favorite on Ravelry!).
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!
Happy New Year. I am swooning over the pattern set (and they are my size too...hurrah!). My new years resolution is to slow down and take life as it comes. It's going to be a challenge! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely giveaways! Thanks for the chance to be in to win. :-) I'd love to go in the draw for the knitting prize please as one of my new years resolutions is to improve my knitting and try to make myself a jumper. (Eek! Scary!!)

Those sewing patterns look awesome and would love to get my hands on them! One of my resolutions is to eat out less!
ReplyDeleteI would love the sewing patterns. I've been contemplating learning to knit......but I don't think I'm there yet! :) Happy New Year and thanks for the giveaway!

I would love to win the sewing patterns - I already have the knitting books!
ReplyDeleteMy New Year's resolutions are very tedious - go to the gym more, take lunch to work, stop leaving sewing and knitting projects unfinished… oh, and I want to learn how to write copperplate calligraphy!
Crossing my fingers for the books!
ReplyDeleteThose sewing patterns look awesome - I would choose them if I won.
ReplyDeleteI don't generally make New Year resolutions, but I have decided to not buy anymore fabric until I use up most of what I already have.
I just barely started learning how to knit.... those books would be perfect!! I am a long time follower by rss but I just added following by friend connect. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAnd my resolution was already to learn how to knit!
ReplyDeleteIf I won I'd go for those beautiful patterns! My resolution is to grow most of my own vegetables and learn how to cook properly using them! I'm a newlywed and still quite new to the cooking thing :)

I can't knit to save my life. Seem I am not patient enough for it. Funnily enough, I am patient with all the other crafts. I guess I settle for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteMy new year resolution? Find the right kitchen for me! I would be housemoving right after umm, delivery. I need to settle with how the kitchen look like because soon I would be too cranky. Plus, besides my workroom, the kitchen is one of my favourite place to churn out ice creams and cakes for the husband and little girl.
I'd love to win either of those so please sign me up for both. I don't really have any new year´s resolutions so I can't share one with you.
