My bubble skirt is complete! I do like the final skirt but I think I would make some changes if I did it again. First, I would probably do a smooth back similar to the Anthropologie skirt that inspired me to participate in this. Not that I don't like the pleated back, I just think it might be more 'poof' than I'm used to.
Second, I would line it. I don't normally line the projects I work on unless the information is in the original pattern. I saw that the sew along was going to have lining, but I figured I'd skip that step. Looking back, I might actually go back, rip out some seams and add lining.
I like the final shape of the skirt more than I thought I would. It's fun, a little sassy, and I love the plaid fabric. Overall a cute and easy project.

Even better, one of my co-workers told me I was 'looking awfully Scottish today.' I think that was the best compliment I've ever received. ;)
